Yan SongCFA, Managing Director

◼ Yan Song is currently Managing Director at ChinaEquity Group, in charge of fund raising and portfolio management practice. He also served as executive director and CFO of Universal Education Holdings Ltd，a vocational training service provider. Prior to that, Mr. YAN had an accumulative 15 years experience as alternative asset manager and held various executive positions in the Hina Group, Hao capital China Fund and Fore Advisors etc.

◼During his tenure as private equity fund manager at Hina Group and Hao Capital, he has helped closing various PE funds accumulated to US$600 million from well-known institutional investors including CICC Capital, Hamillton Lane, Och-Ziff, Adveq and Peakview Capital etc. Furthermore, he has been an early adopter and expert in Fintech and alternative energy investments and executed following cases from Zero (start-up stage) to IPO : ZhongDe Waste Tech. (ZEF.FR), PAX Global (0327.HK), Beijing Sinohytec (688339.SH), NIO (NIO.US) and JD logistics (2618.HK).

◼ Mr. YAN received his Bachelor of Accounting and MBA degrees from Tsinghua University. He has become a CFA charter holder since 2007.
